Far too often when we set out to solve a problem we expend effort to put things back they way they were before before there was a problem. In doing this we miss an opportunity to create something better. We expend effort and create no progress.
Have you ever gone on a vacation without knowing where you were going? Probably not! Creating an ideal alternative provides an idea of what you're striving for. You may not get all the way there though it provides a direction for orientation as you continue to understand, develop strategy and implement it.
Some consider the road to the future rather straightforward with an option to fail. This couldn't be further from the truth.
The road to the future is full of twists and turns and requires one to navigate continually along the way. There is no specific formula that will get you there. Continually learning and adjusting will serve you well.
