Combining electromobility and renewable energies since 2015

Amsterdam Vehicle 2 Grid Modeling explores how works (and can work) the first Vehicle to Grid household in Europe.
The data for solar generation and household consumption is taken from the more than two years of datalogs in Amsterdam V2G.
At the center of the model there are the four core elements of Amsterdam V2G, as well as the flows of energy that connect them.

The flows of energy are directed by the state of the EV battery and the presence of overproduction of electricity.
The model includes a "randomizator" of car use, to simulate what happens with higher or lower EV use (see the slider "EV use threshold").

The model calculates the advantages of using V2G versus using only solar panels, with the values "Mean direct solar" and "Mean V2G"
