THE SHELLFISH INDUSTRY AND MICROPLASTICS​

This model implements solutions to help the fishing industry REDUCE microplastic input into the system. Our proposed solutions minimise the impact the industry will have, and reduce impact until technologies are hopefully developed to begin removing microplastics from important areas of the coast. Note that no microplastics can be removed from the oceans yet, and as such they will continue doing harm. BUT these solutions reduce the fishing industries impact significantly going forward.
