The Liquidator's Mandate

Geoff McDonnell

The American constitutional system is under acute stress not just from a disruptive executive, but from decades of legislative abdication that pushed all power into an administrative bottleneck. This environment generates a self-reinforcing immune response: the bureaucracy paralyzes policy to survive, radicalizing voters who then elect increasingly aggressive political liquidators. The resulting structural friction, originally designed to stabilize the republic, has been weaponized into a cycle of permanent institutional warfare and systemic decay.
