HySUCCESS teaching model: hydrogen adoption and cost learning

Sahar Rezaei

A teaching model for the BLEND bachelor/master session, showing how one part of a hydrogen system affects the others.

Move a slider (subsidy, learning rate, electricity price, public skepticism) and press Simulate to see how installed capacity, cost and public support change from 2025 to 2050.

The model contains two feedback loops: more capacity lowers cost through learning, which attracts more investment; and falling costs raise public support, which also attracts investment.

Based on the logic of HySUCCESS Task 1 (learning-curve cost modelling and investor behaviour). All numbers are illustrative and are not project results.
