Here we try to represent the diffusion of mitigation technologies across a population of farmers. The technology bring environmental benefits, but also costs to farmers. The cost range from negative (win:wins) to very high. We assume that adoption rate is influences by the cost. In this simple model, cost can be interpreted here in an ample sense, as difficulty, which relates no only to monetary cost but also to things like current skill level of the farmer, for example.
