The Koala is a Native species to our country and has put us on the map as it is an icon representing Australia when promoting tourism to the 'Land Down Under', therefore its existence is extremely significant to the Countries growth. Unfortunately, the Koalas population is declining in South East Queensland. The factors influencing this decline are extensive, even considering the many Acts and methods put in place to save the species; the population is on a steady decline. This mind map/loop diagram clearly demonstrates the factors influencing the growth and decline of the Koala population, where the main threats being industrial construction, climate change effects, disease and domestic threats.
