This updated model includes formulas that allows for electricity demand to be zero when solar power is being produced. Then when the price of electricity comes down to .1, which coincides with when the solar panels no longer have output, the electricity demand will increase. This is because the sun is no longer out and electricity price is lower so we can use conventional electricity to power the pump.
