Jide Lewis is currently a Division Chief at the Bank of Jamaica. Having joined the central bank of Jamaica in 2004 as an Economist he has been actively engaged in the on-going monitoring and analysis of the risks to the stability of the financial system. More recently, he has focused on promoting sound microprudential practices within Deposit-Taking Institutions in Jamaica. He graduated from the University of York, with an M.Sc. in Economics and Finance in 2001. In 2005, he became certified as Financial Risk Manager (FRM), was accredited as a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2008 and earned a PhD in Economic Devolpment Policy in 2015.
