Steven E. Wallis earned his Ph.D. in 2006 at Fielding Graduate University, focusing on the rigorous analysis and integration of conceptual systems. His presentations at academic conferences have informed and inspired professors and students around the world including Cuba, South Africa, Paris, and across the United States. Dr. Wallis has a decade of experience as a facilitator and organizational development consultant in Northern California. Recently, he Joined Meaningful Evidence, LLC, as Director of Meta-Analysis and lead of the ASK MATT section. At Capella University, he mentors doctoral candidates in the Harold Abel School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. As Director for the Foundation for the Advancement of Social Theory (FAST) he supports emerging scholars who are working to identify rigorous paths for the validation of theory through critical metatheory and metapolicy analysis. Dr. Wallis has a broad range of interdisciplinary interests. His academic publications cover many fields including history of science, ethics, management, organizational change, entrepreneurship, and policy.
