A club called 4-H which encourages children to farm, takes off in Africa. The club uses a seed called the "Pioneer Seed", a seed from Dupont Pioneer, a supplier of genetically modified seeds.

The corn grown from these seeds are much better and sell better than the seeds that the African farmers used before.

The children return to their parents from the 4-H club and tell them about the Pioneer seed. The club gives each family some of the seed. It grows amazingly, and farmers want more and more of the seed.

Unfortunately, the seed is extremely costly and only 6 out of 50 farmers who wish to buy it, can actually afford it. This creates a problem. People want to buy the seed so that they can create profit, but none of the farmers can actually afford it.

4-H's affect on Farmers

.According to World Health Organization, the SARS-CoV-2 virus is the infectious disease known as coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The majority of virus-infected individuals will experience a mild to severe respiratory disease and will recover without the need for special care. However, some people will get serious illnesses and need to see a doctor. Serious sickness is more likely to strike older persons and those with underlying medical illnesses including cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or chronic respiratory diseases. COVID-19 can cause anyone to become very ill or pass away at any age.

Being knowledgeable about the illness and the virus's propagation is the best strategy to stop or slow down transmission. By keeping a distance of at least one meter between people, donning a mask that fits properly, and often washing your hands or using an alcohol-based rub, you can prevent infection in both yourself and other people. When it's your turn, get your vaccination, and abide by any local advice.

When an infected person coughs, sneezes, speaks, sings, or breathes, the virus can spread from their mouth or nose in minute liquid particles. From larger respiratory droplets to tiny aerosols, these particles are diverse. It's crucial to use proper respiratory technique, such as coughing into a flexed elbow, and to confine yourself to your home and rest until you feel better.

As shone here, the Carbon Dioxide humans produce causes many negative changes to the Earth and its inhabitants.

As explained by the Atmospheric CO2 group, CO2 is produced in many ways - such as the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, etc. The CO2 then gets released into the atmosphere.

The Ocean Acidification group told us about the bodies of water collecting CO2, which in turns makes the water acidic and the fish unsafe for human consumption.

They also told us about the clams that feed off atoms in the water that the CO2 is destroying, which ends up off-setting the marine food chain. This part alone would make a little over a billion people hungry.

The greenhouse group taught us about the greenhouse effect. Through the greenhouse effect, the CO2 in the atmosphere will warm the earth, which will kill plants and animals that are unable to adapt to the warmer climate.

As proof of this, temperatures and CO2 levels are much higher than they have ever been in the past 400,000 years. This is shown in Ice Cores, where the age of the ice can be told from the depth, the CO2 levels are apparent from the bubbles in the ice, and the temperature directly effects the amount of ice that is formed.
