In mathematics, the Fibonacci Sequence is a sequence in which each element is the sum of the two elements that precede it. Numbers that are part of the Fibonacci sequence are known as Fibonacci Numbers, commonly denoted Fn . The ratio of two consecutive Fibonacci numbers tends to the Golden Ratio as n increases.

The model reproduces the Fibonacci numbers and shows that Fₙ is represented by a stock that transfers all its content to the stock Fₙ₊₁ and this one feedback Fₙ (positively or negatively according variable "Feedback") at each simulation step.

If the variable "Feedback" is equal to 1, Fₙ₊₁ will feed back into Fₙ positively, and Fₙ will grow indefinitely according to the Fibonacci sequence.

If the variable "Feedback" is equal to -1, it will feed back into Fₙ negatively and the result will make the Fₙ sequence oscillate.

To see this behavior change, click SIMULATE and observe the Fₙ graph when you change the value of the "Feedback" variable from 1 to -1.
