Dennis
Once the strategy has been developed it's up to the Stakeholders who own the segments of the revised model to implement it so a new pattern of behavior is created thus effecting the desired situation.

Clone of Understanding

Brian Dowling
If we are to develop a strategy for dealing with a situation we must first understand what has caused the situation to be the way it is. If we don't know why it is the way it is then any action we take is little more than meddling and unlikely to produce the desired result.

Clone of Clone of Success to the Successful/SFD

Pauline Maes
As long as A and B are equally successful everything will remain stable. Though if either A or B receive more resources than the other, or A or B is more successful than the other, the imbalance will result in greater success of A or B accordingly and promote even more success of the one that demonstrates greater success.

Clone of Attractiveness Principle Systems Archetype/SFD

erwin

It's relatively well understood that you can't be all things to all people. Somewhere one has to make choices. An Attractiveness Principle Systems Archetype is essentially a Limits to Growth Systems Archetype with multiple limits, all of which can not be addressed equally.

Clone of Fixes that Fail/CLD

Edythe

This fixes that fail diagram describes how people often address symptoms, but not fundamental causes.  Poke yoke is a design principle that operates in one of two ways.  One is to prevent the defect from occurring, which addresses the source.  This is ideal because there are no defective products to scrap or rework.

The other is one that prevents defective work-in-process from being passed on to the next stage.  This does not prevent the defect from occurring.  There is still the scrap and rework, but it prevents the product from reaching the customer.
